Landscape Art

Landscape design for a single family home in the Freemont neighborhood of Seattle.

The client was inspired by Japanese design elements but didn't want a full Japanese garden so I created what I like to call a Pan-Asian landscape.

I am potentially getting a new landscape design project in Mercer Island starting tomorrow. This project is a multifamily condo conversion and is going to be a quality but reasonable priced project. My design needs to incorporate pervious and impervious surface calculations give a spacious quality feeling without causing added run off. I will post pictures of the project tomorrow.

Drawing Project

I have been killing myself to get this certain project done at work. I put in 67 hours last week and have put in many hours this week. I am inundated with drawing requests and the edits are changing from one decision to another and it is becomming all too much. I am not an AutoCAD technician. This is not what my job is supposed to be. I am supposed to get to experience many different aspects not just the drawing and design aspects. I also get to create drawings but not mark up other sets, which I think I have the ability and skill to do.

I have another interview for tomorrow that should have an offer of employment attached to it. I hope this will be my way out of the overwork situation I have gotten into.

I have attached some pictures I took of downtown seattle and the new Seattle Art Museum.
