Honestly you guys this video does not show what the guy was doing before the police had him on the ground, could have been high on drugs, threatening the police, running from police after mugging someone, who knows. It certainly appears to me that he was resisting in some way the arrest. Lots of adrenaline pumping and the kicks (if that is what it is, hard to tell) may have been to further subdue the subject. I have heard so many stories from Rick over the years of the "bad guys" who have been arrested for a variety of things over and over again and who rarely serve the time they should for their crimes, often out on bail before the paperwork is filed. Not all cops are brutal they are representative of human beings throughout this country, some good, some bad. I for one would rather put my faith in the police then the drug addict on the corner looking for his/her next fix and willing to commit just about any crime to get it. So where did the video come from Nathan?

I was walking down the street when I saw a man who was quite large, resist arrest and three cops were chasing him. One thing I noticed was he kept his arms close and didn't open up his stride but made short choppy steps towards me. He had the look of someone who was mentally challenged. One cop tazered the guy and the other two grabbed him and wrestled him to the ground. I was just standing there witnessing this when I saw another guy with his phone filming what was going on so I pulled out my camera and started filming also. I think the guy must have been on some serious drug because the police response was impressive. Within minutes there were 30 cops on the scene and the guy was completely surrounded. I saw the original three cops throw some punches and when the two cops showed up at the end I saw them kick and punch the guy in the body and the second cop looked as if he kicked the guy in the head. I realize that the guy probably deserved what he got but I also think some sort of restraint system that gives the appearance of trying not to hurt the individual is warranted.

I also saw a guy getting arrested yesterday, and he was treated well and just easily placed in the police car without incident. I think the guy I caught on tape was asking for what happened to him.

It's such a violent world. On both sides of the law. Isn't 30 to 1 a bit much? It makes me queasy. I hope your day improved after that!
Love you Nathan.
